The theme for PhotoFriday this week is Best of 2005. I took at least 1,000 photos in 2005. Most of them were crap, but there are a few I'd like to consider for this theme.

According to flickr, this was my most "favorited" photo, but I don't know that I'd consider it my best at all.

I almost miss ranting about Christmas. Almost.

In the spirit this year. The lights, the music, the hustling and bustling; the air of excitement almost makes the crush of holiday traffic and the stress of making it all picture perfect worth it. I've been taking hundreds of pictures a day. So much color and vibrance and so many joyful faces.

Not even the 5000th airing of Feliz Navidad or the insipidness of Christmas Shoes can bring me down this year.
